London police came across a tiny marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff identified the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no water while trembling. It endured the harsh ordeal. Animal advocates called it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery emerged during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
