Michael Taaffe received his first NFL start. He left with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety picked off Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not in the starting pair. The interception came on the opening drive of the half. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway represented the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
