Kingborough Lions dumped Melbourne Victory out of the Australia Cup with a 3-0 win at the Showgrounds in Hobart. Nearly 3,000 supporters turned up and watched Victory get taken apart, that defeat sending Victory out of the cup straight away. Down the road, Melbourne City cruised past Weston Bears 3-0 without real stress. The two Melbourne sides now press on to the round of 16. Attention turns back to the league for Victory after a bruising night in Hobart.
