Chase Elliott hit the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The vehicle took a hard hit but Elliott stated the damage remained minor. Subsequently, Alex Bowman revealed he will step away after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a spot that may go to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott only mentioned Bowman post crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
