Prince Andrew is based at Sandringham and, according to sources, is getting on well enough there with friends dropping by often. The arrangement comes after he was stripped of royal duties, with King Charles making clear through an order limiting his public appearances.

Despite that directive, Andrew has not stepped back from horse events. A reported deal worth around 1.3 million dollars between the King and his brother has raised eyebrows, with observers scrutinising the details of the arrangement.
